Oversight Releases Houdini To Protect Valuable Data
April 12, 2007, San Antonio, TX Oversight Technology Corp. announced the release of Houdini in response to the increase of data mining, identity theft and hacking of personal computers.
The company developed the Houdini software to ensure an individual's private information including banking records, tax records, medical and legal documents, personal photos, etc. are kept out of the hands of identity theives and hackers. Houdini operates uniquely and so is unable to be overcome by clever hackers.
Houdini is not a digital vault but rather ensures the hackers and identity thieves cannot see the directories, folders, files, photos and more that an individual user is hiding. Houdini, much like its namesake, makes such sensitive information vanish from the computer and cannot be made visible without the password or pass-phrase the user initially set.
The Houdini software is currently being offered with a 15-day trial download at the company web site or at online marketer CNet.com. Questions about the software or the company may be directed to the company website.
